Always Provide: Anniversary Gift

March 20, 2025

Hello again! It's been a few months since our last "weekly" update from the CL Thomas Fellowship®, and today is the perfect day to reconnect. It's been 8 years since my father, CL Thomas aka "Pop" passed away. And I have a gift to share in his honor.

1 big thing: Bereavement Support for Friends of the Fellowship

We partnered with BEREAVE to offer free bereavement support in 2025. I connected with the founders of BEREAVE, who built an online portal specifically to support people during the loss of a loved one, from practical advice on planning a funeral to self-care tips you can access when and if you need.

Available to you, our newsletter subscribers! The link below is a unique URL specially created for the CL Thomas Fellowship®, and we are delighted to provide this to all of you. Just click the link to explore. Completely free, our gift to you.

New Podcast Name: "Provide Like Jesus"

New guests share stories of providing like Jesus. This year, we changed the title of the podcast show from Become a Provider to Provide Like Jesus to make the purpose more straightforward. We have had some great guests so far be sure to check out the show on your favorite podcast app or YouTube.

Thank you all!

8 years goes by fast. Over the years, we have shared Pop's story through the book "Become a Provider," facilitated men's and women's small groups, have a weekly podcast called "Provide Like Jesus," volunteered for Hurricane Helene efforts, sponsored people to have 1 year of free Direct Primary Care membership to provide for their health, and even have this sporadic newsletter as ways to provide for others. And now offering bereavement support.

It's been a journey, thank you for being on it with us. Whether as a newsletter subscriber, small group participant, podcast guest, financial supporter, social media supporter or prayer warrior, thank you! We hope the work and services of the fellowship helps to encourage you to provide like Jesus because we believe this makes life more meaningful and worth all the obstacles and losses. Keep providing.

Remember to use our bereavement support gift if you need it or just want to check out the resources to know what is available by clicking the button below.

Bless & Protect,

Justin Thomas

April 3rd, 2025 Happy Thursday! I am getting back into the habit of sharing weekly(ish) encouragement to provide like Jesus through this newsletter. I recently had the opportunity to share at my church and wanted to summarize the talk below. Enjoy! God is With Us Even When We Don't Feel It Running 100 miles reminded me God is with us. When I woke up for my last ultrarace, I looked at my alarm clock and immediately sensed the words "I am with you." What a gift. I meditated on these words all...

Nov 6th, 2024 Happy Hump Day! Here is your weekly encouragement to always provide in your life. It's been a couple of weeks since my last update so let's dive right in. 1 big thing: Do Good Work. My Election Day Strategy Was to do Good Work. Everyone is called in different ways to serve. This week, I have felt at peace focusing on doing good work consulting clients on their benefits and finally getting a few to-do items done! Advocating for Direct Primary Care. I found myself campaigning with...

Oct 23rd, 2024 Happy Hump Day! Here is your weekly encouragement to always provide in your life. Here is a secret: I write to myself as a reminder as well:) Let's provide better together. 1 big thing: Keep Swinging for the Fences with Joy Presenting shows off our joy. As part of my work with Bull Benefits, I am presenting a custom health plan to a group of employees this week. This is an example of "swinging for the fences." To learn a new industry, serve others well, make sales, produce...
