October 2, 2024 Happy Hump Day! My last email update was about how excited I was to tackle a 100-mile race. The event was canceled due to storms from Helene. And today we have a more important update on our provider work. Today I'm excited to share how we are supporting Southwest Virginia's recovery efforts. 1 big thing: Providing for Damascus Amy is on her way with supplies to support those in need. We were in Southwest Virginia for my race when the storms caused massive flooding. A national guard helicopter was able to get 130- 150 people recovered from either being in the water, on top of vehicles, or in kayaks.
